Saskatchewan Fair Chase
The weather was lousy the third week of November in Saskatchewan. Six friends and myself, were hunting the Sweetgrass Indian Reserve, northwest of Battleford. Hot temperatures and no snow made hunting tough. Deer movement was reduced to early morning and late evening. Giving it our best shot, we hunted hard and stayed with it. I was rewarded this great buck on the next to the last day of the hunt. |
